Thanks to John Fitzgerald Kennedy and his Apollo Project, we did land on the moon July 16th 1969 ...when the "eagle" touched down gently in Tranquillity Base.
21 Apr 1961, Washington, DC, USA --- President Kennedy was holding up two fingers to indicate that the United States was running second in the space race during one of his many live televised news conference. He said that no amount of money could enable the U.S. to beat Russia to the moon without the Saturn Rocket.
